Each class of graduating seniors from Baltimore School for the Arts is extraordinary in a unique way. The Class of 2018 combines incredible talent, persistence, and leadership, and we’re so excited to welcome these students into the distinguished group known as BSA alumni.

One-hundred percent of the students who applied to college were accepted. BSA students were offered admission into some of the best colleges, universities, and conservatories in the world, including: Berklee College of Music, Brown University, Columbia University, Georgetown University, Goucher College, Howard University; Indiana University at Bloomington, MICA, NYU, Princeton University, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, SCAD, School of Visual Art, Smith College, Juilliard, UMBC, University of Maryland, St. Mary’s College of MD, and Yale University.

The state of Maryland happens to be home to first-rate colleges at more affordable prices, and BSA has been encouraging its students to explore these excellent options locally. We’re excited to announce 31% of our graduating class will be attending a public school in Maryland next year.

Several of our students have also elected to take a gap year, and will be starting college Fall 2019. Overall, 98% of our graduating class will be starting college either this fall or next fall.

The Class of 2018 earned $16,371,978 million in scholarships, and its members received numerous honors.

Congratulations to the Class of 2018!
