    Alum Jada Pinkett Smith ’89 Came to BSA with a Surprise Guest

    The Baltimore School for the Arts hosted a moderated discussion with alum Jada Pinkett Smith ‘89 on her new unconventional memoir Worthy on Wednesday, October 18. In this intimate conversation, Jada shared her experiences of growing up in Baltimore and how BSA significantly influenced and readied her for her career in Hollywood. The special guest, Willow Smith, also opened up about her journey of self-discovery as an artist and the efforts she puts into honing her artistry. After the engaging discussion moderated by acting alum Mitchell Napper ’23, Jada spoke to senior theatre students for a Q&A session before joining the reception with our special guests.
