The Wind Symphony will present “Outdoor Overtures,” a nature-themed program that includes:

Whitacre’s October
Markowski’s City Trees
Joplin’s Maple Leaf Rag
The jazz students will present “The Music of New Orleans,” with performances from three different ensembles: Gumbo Nouveau, which offers fresh takes on old classics; the BSA Dixieland Jazz Band, serving up traditional Dixieland and the modern brass band; and the BSA Big Band.
Special guests include: Leo Hickman, banjo; Nataysha Lewis, vocals; Keith Fleming, tuba; and Olu Dixon, tap.
