ACTOR-TRAINING PROGRAM
The actor-training program is a four year program employing a variety of techniques in the development of characterization, scene study, voice, movement for the actor and basic scenic arts. Acting students work in ensembles, matriculating as a group. Our emphasis is on studio work with performance opportunities in workshop and open-studio presentations for the first three years. Main stage and touring productions are limited to students in the Senior Ensemble.
The Theatre Department enjoys productive working relationships with the professional Theatres in the region, including attendance at performances, a mentoring program at Center Stage, co-productions with Everyman Theatre and regular master classes through The Hippodrome Foundation.
STAGE DESIGN & PRODUCTION PROGRAM
