We are currently seeking a chemistry/math teacher, an English teacher, a Program Manager for the Music Department, and a Communications Manager. Please see information and listings below.

BSA is seeking a full-time, certificated chemistry teacher for the 2016-17 school year. The ideal candidate will plan and implement rigorous and relevant lessons geared towards 11th and 12th grade high school students. In addition to the chemistry duties, this position requires the candidate to teach one section of Algebra I to our 9th grade students. Please see the job description here.

BSA is also seeking a part-time English teacher for the 2016-17 school year to teach 2 section of Honors English. The ideal candidate will plan and implement rigorous and relevant lessons geared towards our more advanced students. This position will be for 36 weeks at 12.5 hours per week. This position requires the teacher to keep an electronic gradebook, submit grades, and communicate with parents and other stakeholders as needed.
The courses taught will explore the key principles of usage and writing in a variety of genres and literary analysis. Students read and respond in writing to a variety of literary genre including plays, novels, short stories and poetry. This course balances writing skills, including multi-paragraph analytical essays, SAT preparation writing, journal writing (including personal compositions and creative writing) poetry, and a full-length MLA-style research paper.

BSA is seeking a Program Manager for Music Department

The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills, good time management skills and work well with a wide variety of people. An ability to manage simultaneous, multiple projects is necessary. The Program Manager is responsible for purchasing, record-keeping, scheduling and many other daily operational duties. This person assists the Music Department Head in organizing the instructional and performance programs in the school. The Program Manager will also assist in performance production. BSA is seeking a Communications Manager.
This is a year-round position ranging from 20-28 hours per week depending on experience and skill-set. The candidate must have superior writing skills, a creative mindset, and a facility with social media and content management platforms. PR experience is preferable but not mandatory.
